My dearest heart,
I, am sorry for all the pain I have caused you over the years.
Never have I ever felt the shame.
I covered it with sin over the years.
Never did I ever feel your agony and try to heal your wounds.
instead I made the misery worse.
Somtimes the hardest thing in life is knowing that “you” have pained and suffered your ownself.
I feel like I have wasted 20 years of nothing.
I let this dunya consume you my poor heart.
I got you attached to things like music, school, friends, and never did I ever realize that, this is what caused the anquish.
Burdened with despair longing to call out and yet I ignored you my dearest heart.
Allah gave me signs and told me “ beware watch out” but yet I neglected the fact that my own Rab was warning me.
So, because of this my heart began to give up! and soon after all that, I was left with disapointment.
Attachments of this dunya caused my heart to go astray from Allah, such a sad thing I know it still gets to me till this day.
But dont you worry my heart because Allah does forgive, Its just a moment in time when the heart will finally realize whats wrong and whats right.
